Corbett
is a small tight knit community located at the mouth
of the Historic Columbia River Gorge just across
the Sandy River from the Gresham - Troutdale community.
The Corbett
School district enrolls over 650 children from kindergarten
through high school. Students attend one of three
schools located on a single campus. Students, teachers
and parents work together to provide an atmosphere
of personal development and academic achievement.
The extended community of families, alumni, alumni
families, and friends number in the thousands. Our
schools have received both national and local recognition
for outstanding student achievement, high quality
progressive education and athletic success. Our
recent graduates are attending some of the finest
colleges in the nation as they prepare themselves
for future success in life. On Thursday March 6th,
2008 at 5:30 pm The Corbett Schools Booster Club
will be hosting its 2nd Annual Red & Black Dinner
Auction to raise funds for athletics and other extracurricular
activities.
This community
event features products, gift certificates and services
donated by area businesses, families and the kids
themselves. All auction proceeds are used to provide
essential funding for our athletic and other extracurricular
activities that are critical to developing well-rounded
students and leaders of tomorrow. These programs
would not exist without the generous support and
dedication from the Corbett and surrounding communities.
We are asking local companies who do business with
Corbett School families to consider providing a
donation for our auction. As a donor you will be
featured in our Auction Listings booklet and highlighted
as a supporter of Corbett Cardinal Athletics. We
appreciate and value business support and have found
that participation can be an effective form of advertisement
for your business. We also gladly accept cash donations
to help underwrite the cost of this event. Enclosed
is a procurement donation form. The dinner auction
procurement process will conclude February 29th,
2008. The Corbett Schools Booster Club is a non-profit
